Relevant experience - I have...
    • Taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels at the Universities of Auckland and Waikato, full-time from 1987-1993 and ongoing occasional graduate courses (most recently in 2015); my work as a lecturer has involved proofing and editing the work of academic colleagues and students

    • Completed three graduate theses, including a doctorate in psychology and sociology (1992), and another at the intersect of law, psychology and medicine (2016)

    • Supervised 10 Masters theses and been an adviser for two doctorates

    • Been an examiner for many Masters theses and dissertations

    • Reviewed and/or edited journal articles and peer-reviewed research reports

    • Published articles in refereed journals and conference proceedings in a range of disciplines

    • Contributed chapters to university textbooks in psychology, women’s studies, law, and evaluation

    • Reviewed research proposals for the Health Research Council and the University of Auckland Human Participants Ethics Committee

    • Project-managed the development of two online Masters of Business Law degrees for the University of Liverpool’s School of Law (2009-2010), including editing the draft study modules

    • Written and edited a wide range of technical manuals, conference manuals, study guides, and submissions to various Select Committees and other government committees

    • Run a successful research company, working as an independent researcher and writer for the past 20 years, writing more than 130 major research reports for government and other clients, all to a high standard.
